Subtraction with Regrouping
This is the lesson on how to subtract numbers where the students have to regroup or borrow. There is a method that a colleague of mine came up with that works well for regrouping with zeros. It includes a rap that the students really like to perform and can help them talk through the process of regrouping. Just push the play button to start the video of the lesson. There is also a link to some practice problems involving regrouping and some word problems applying the skill at the bottom of the page with an answer key following.
