Lines of Symmetry
For a figure to be symmetrical, it has to be exactly the same on both sides of a given line. They should think about being able to fold the figure in half and then determine if both sides would be identical. Students will have to draw lines of symmetry as well and tell how many lines of symmetry a figure would possibly have.
